The eunuchs refuse to let the lady investigators do the audit. Then, the King decides that they shouldn't continue with the audit because he wants to investigate the copper shortage secretly. Because of that, the palace is quite and Jang Ok Jeong with her brother decides to set the treasury on fire. They also send assassins to kill Dong Yi, but she is not in her bed. Dong Yi is in the treasury looking for the record books when the fire starts. She run away and chased by the assassins.
