Doc, Braddock and several wounded GIs take refuge in a French Chรขteau owned by a wealthy aristocrat and his daughter. The father is concerned only with saving his estate and wants no part of them and orders them off the property. Unfortunately, a strong German patrol shows up intending to use the Chรขteau as an artillery observation post. The G.I.s are taken prisoner. While the captured soldiers make plans to escape, the aristocrat sees a kindred spirit in the seemingly cultured German commander, but doesn't realize that the officer has designs on the Chรขteau's treasures including the aristocrat's daughter.
