Alex Polizzi heads for Derbyshire's Peak District to help the owner of a 15th-century inn deal with a stream of problems. The two-star venue has 10 en-suite bedrooms, a bar and a 50-seat restaurant, but struggles to attract customers at the weekends. With a wage bill of ยฃ10,000 a month, the business is estimated to have made a loss of ยฃ600,000 over the years, and the expert hotelier sets out to improve the dated decor and turn around the hotel's fortunes.
