Lily Aramburo, a new mother and recovering drug addict, falls back into her old habits with her fiancรฉ, Christen Pacheco. She goes to rehab but is kicked out for failing a drug test. The next day, after smoking crack with Pacheco and two friends, Aramburo walks out of her condo at 2 a.m. carrying two bungee cords. When she doesnโt return, family and friends wonder if sheโs committed suicide. Before long, however, suspicions begin to swirl around Pacheco. Now, thanks to the persistence of Aramburoโs loved ones, investigators may be close to unraveling the truth.
