Mark Daniel RonsonΒ (born 4 September 1975) is a British-American DJ, record producer, remixer, and songwriter. He has won eightΒ Grammy Awards, includingΒ Producer of the YearΒ forΒ Amy Winehouse's albumΒ Back to BlackΒ (2006), as well as two forΒ Record of the YearΒ with her 2006 single "Rehab" and his own 2014 single "Uptown Funk" (featuringΒ Bruno Mars). He has also won anΒ Academy Award for Best Original Song, aΒ Golden GlobeΒ and a Grammy Award forΒ co-writingΒ "Shallow" (performed by Lady Gaga andΒ Bradley Cooper) for the filmΒ AΒ Star Is Born (2018). Ronson served as lead and executive producer forΒ the soundtrackΒ to the 2023 fantasy comedy filmΒ Barbie, on which he also composed and co-wrote several of its songs with his production partnerΒ Andrew Wyatt.
