AnnetteΒ 'Leslie'Β JonesΒ (born September 7, 1967) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, singer, and game show host. She was a cast member and writer for theΒ NBCΒ sketch comedyΒ seriesΒ Saturday Night LiveΒ from 2014 to 2019. In 2017 and 2018, she was nominated for aΒ Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy SeriesΒ for her work onΒ Saturday Night Live. In 2010, her one-hour comedy special,Β Problem Child, was broadcast onΒ Showtime, and in 2020, she had another special, Time Machine. She starred as Patty Tolan in GhostbustersΒ (2016) and Mary Junson in Coming 2 America.
