Gustavo SΓ‘nchez Parra studied at the most famous Dramatic Art school in Mexico, the Centro Universitario de Teatro. He landed his first role in Alejandro GonzΓ‘lez IΓ±Γ‘rritu's debut, Amores Perros, for which he was nominated for an Ariel for Best Supporting Actor. Then he worked in national and international productions such as Ridley Scott's The Fire of Vengeance; The Three Burials of MelquΓades Estrada, by Tommy Lee Jones; Rabia, by SebastiΓ‘n Cordero, and CrΓ³nicas, produced by Guillermo del Toro, among more than 35 films. He was awarded the Honorary Prize at the Morelia Festival for having appeared in more than 40 short films.
