DondrΓ© Terrell WhitfieldΒ (born May 27, 1969) is an American actor. He began his career appearing in a recurring role as Robert Foreman on theΒ NBCΒ sitcomΒ The Cosby ShowΒ (1985β87), before playing Terrence Frye in theΒ ABC DaytimeΒ soap opera,Β All My ChildrenΒ (1991β94). He received threeΒ Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama SeriesΒ nominations for his performance onΒ All My Children. He had starring role in a number of short-lived sitcoms, includeΒ The CrewΒ (1995β96),Β Between BrothersΒ (1997β99), andΒ Hidden HillsΒ (2002β03). He also has appeared in a number of films, such asΒ Two Can Play That GameΒ (2001),Β The SalonΒ (2004), Pastor BrownΒ (2009), andΒ Middle of NowhereΒ (2012). In 2015, he joined the cast ofΒ BETΒ reality comedy seriesΒ Real Husbands of Hollywood, and in 2016 began starring in theΒ Oprah Winfrey NetworkΒ drama series,Β Queen Sugar. In 2002, he married actressΒ Salli Richardson; they have two children: a daughter and a son.
