Charlie Faulkner PlummerΒ (born May 24, 1999) is an American actor. He began his career as a child actor in short films and made his feature film debut inΒ David Chase's dramaΒ Not Fade AwayΒ (2012) before landing a lead role inΒ King JackΒ (2015).Β In 2017, he gained wider recognition for playingΒ John Paul Getty IIIΒ inΒ Ridley Scott'sΒ thrillerΒ All the Money in the WorldΒ and a troubled teenager inΒ Andrew Haigh's dramaΒ Lean on Pete. His performance in the latter earned him theΒ Marcello Mastroianni AwardΒ for the best-emerging actor. On television, Plummer made his first prominent appearances on the dramasΒ Boardwalk Empire (2011β2013) andΒ Granite FlatsΒ (2013β2015). He has since starred in theΒ HuluΒ miniseriesΒ Looking for AlaskaΒ (2019) and portrayed a youngΒ Franklin D. RooseveltΒ in theΒ ShowtimeΒ seriesΒ The First LadyΒ (2022).
