Allison Cara Tolman (born November 18, 1981) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as MinnesotaΒ police officer Molly SolversonΒ in the first season of theΒ FXΒ black comedy crime seriesΒ Fargo. For her role, she won theΒ Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/MiniseriesΒ and received Best Actress nominations at theΒ Emmy AwardsΒ and for theΒ Golden Globes. In 2015, she had a supporting role inΒ Michael Dougherty's comedy horror filmΒ Krampus. In 2017, Tolman starred inΒ ABC'sΒ Downward Dog, based on the Animal Media GroupΒ web series, It was canceled after one season.
