Abubakr AliΒ is an Egyptian-born American actor. He played Officer Samir Bashir inΒ Law & Order: Organized Crime on television and the lead in the 2022 filmΒ Anything's Possible. Ali was born in Egypt and raised inΒ Pasadena, California.Β He is a Muslim.Β According to an interview he did forΒ Wonderland, Ali and his family moved to the United States in 2000; his father died in 2017.
