Julia and Quentin find that Stokes went to Europe inexplicably, just as it was predicted in 1995. The children find a coffin and see a figure rising from it and leave, later they find a man attacked; the children remember a similar thing happened in 1840. Julia hypnotizes Daphne to make her cooperate; Julia finds that Rose Cottage will be destroyed this night.
